Gorgeous. I would highly recommend visiting Nara, because even though it’s kind of tourist trap-like, it is simply amazing to see the old buildings and the giant buddha statue ((also there are deer everywhere that were very friendly and let you pet them. so cool)). My only critique is that traveling within Japan is VERY expensive ((they have tollbooths EVERYWHERE)). I did it as a part of a student exchange program with fundraisers, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to afford it.
