Finally got this running, using a trial version of AgileMobile. It took me a long time to actually find the right installer for the Nokia E65. Luckily, I stumbled upon SymbianGear.com . Everything that plays nice with the E65 is listed there, including a trial version of Lotus Sametime. I’ll test that at the office later, as soon as I configure the wifi to connect to my office WLAN.

The trial version for AgileMobile is only 7 days. Weirdly enough, the official site didn’t include information on purchasing or registering. Then again, I’m still hoping to get a free mobile chat client from my service provider. Just as soon as I find the time to actually drop by one of their service centers.

Setting up AgileMobile was very simple, unlike the frustrating ordeal that was the native IM client on the phone itself. The manual doesn’t help either, trust me.. I read it.

All in all, am pleased with the outcome. I don’t think I’m a chat junkie, but getting it to work is indeed very satisfying.
