get rid of all my clutter (read all 17 entries…)
Ahhhhhh. I feel so much lighter!

A neighbourhood supermarket came up with a superb mktg idea.We can exchnge our junk for 25%reduction on selected things.I got rid of kilos of old clothes & bought a few books I always wanted& a lovely bed sheet set on discount! I was inspired to so another round of cleanup,& came up with 10 MORE kgs of excess clohtes(I buy so many!!!) that I wont wear! There is a condition though- for say every 100, we spend 300 to be able to redeem it.But its still a deal as in exchange for what is completely useless,we can buy what is required.Instead of a regular 25% off sale, they came up with this idea .The best part is it inspired me to get rid of clutter which otherwise would have just been lying boxed up, cluttering up my life.

I wish

That they would do that near me – I’d probably get over that clutter box shuffle where it moves into another box for the next clean out because I can’t bring myself to part with it just yet. Like the 2 broken watches (bands broken – batteries gone) that I couldn’t throw out – lucky for me hubby helped with the last sort through and he was ruthless. The watches have gone!!

I wish that too:)4 u

Why are you holding onto them?can u repair them or transform them into somehting useful or pretty? are you holding onto them for some sentimental reason? I know how tough it is, but it happens slowly once you decide you donk want junk cluttering up your space.I still have some stuff left which I will part with once summer starts properly(its still a bit chilly here at nights).Give yourself a deadline, or force yourself to chose one.Once you have let go of one, it will make it easier for the subsequent purges also. All the best in your endeavours!

Maya76 has gotten 4 cheers on this entry.
