I started raising goats about 2 1/2 years ago. They are much smarter and have more personality than you’d think and having them around has become one of my greatest joys. Just be warned – they are a lot of work… theres’ always work to do on the barn, fences, cleaning the barn, stacking hay, medical care (most vets don’t know how to treat goats) etc etc.

hey.. I’ll be getting a couple early next year.. building the barn this Fall.
got 44 laying hens and 49 meat birds currently…. may get a couple pigs next year too

i like goats too!

can you email at my 43things page? i need smackers to contact people … also, id like to ask you stuff about raising goats.. never had goats but is one of my life ;dreams; ... i always thought they were very funny and also productive (milk, cheese, wool, etc) ... i am from spain originally and there we have many goats … and i think goat cheese is the best, really!
i would appreciate if you send me an email, if you got smackers (this smackers thing is not good cause limits the use of contacting other people too soon) ... anyway, maybe you can help with both things – hope you having a good time and life is well – peace – mike

I think it’s so cool you’re into goats. They are one of the greatest joys in my life – my family being the greatest joy. They are like family now though.
