...without common courtesy, please and thank yous, respect…nada, nothing, zip…

it shows your respect and liking for the other person, the fact that you care enough to do these things….without them, you could start to feel resentful…like some sort of servant.

Politeness can be fake. Truthfulness in love is the most needed component to have sustained love. Being polite with a fake heart is a sad way to experience love.

And being impolite with a non-fake heart?

If u mean politeness as mannerism....

I think,mannerism is good to enhance one’s personality,and gives fine impression.But,in relationship,it is “respecting each other”,I find very important….understanding,said and un-said language.
“Respect”is important,not politeness always.Being polite is a quality,I don’ deny.
