My brother, best friend & husband all got PhDs…I strongly agree with you, it is such a hard way one has to pass through for about 4-5 years. My husband believes PhD provides patience & discipline to the person…Oh my..

Well, spending that much time on one topic especially requires that you are stubborn… ;-) But patience & discipline come in handy as well.
