Many people know the cure of AIDS but not everyone wants to contribute. If we stop spreading it, eventually AIDS will disapear. So far thats the only cure that we have, maybe it wont help us, but It will defenetly help the future generations.

Irrational Reasoning
Sure, in theory that would work, so would the same reasoning on almost any virus. But you didn’t take into account that people with the highest rate of infection are in poorer countries, and many who pass the virus on do not know they are carriers. There is a tradition in africa where if you carry the virus, and have sex with a virgin, you get rid of it, which obviously just passess it on. Some people with ancestors who suffered from the Bubonic plague have mutated B-cells which do not have the proper attachment for HIV’s Protein spike to infect with. So they can carry the virus, but never become infected with it. Maybe B-cell mutation is a more feasible idea than hypothetical halting of it’s spread.
