master cleanse (read all 21 entries…)
Day 5 AM

Well, this I’ve heard about, but it’s a first for me…
I’m still in bed, feel like I’m coming down with the flu. My eyes hurt, my head hurts, my skin aches.
I’m extremely tired, and slow.
I am going to eventually get out of bed and go for a walk, but for now, I’m still hiding under the covers and it feels good.

I saw a friend yesterday and she told me that I look pale and grey. That is not the kind of response I was hoping to get :-)
It’s all part of the cleansing, I know.

I had a dream last night that I cheated. I ate pizza and donuts and felt so guilty. I woke up entirely relieved that it had not actually happened. I’m not feeling hungry today, and like Chip, when I do get hungry, I just remind myself how far I’ve come and that keeps me going.

I’m going to drink more water today to flush this nasty ‘flu’ out.

I’ve only been doing 2 poop-teas a day, which has been working.
How important is the SWF? Do you think it would make my bad symptoms pass more quickly?

Symptoms so far (some passed, some still here):
Itchy and achy skin
dull headache always lingering somewhere
extreme dislike towards neighbors ever-barking dog
lower back and kidney pain
burning eye pain
shortness of breath

Delightful side effects:
Emotionally off the roller coaster
clear and calm (aside from yelling at the dog to shut up)
feelings of lightness, like i am not weighed down any more.

i think so far, the best thing is that
my mind has stopped running at 1 million thoughts per second. it was exhausting!

i am seriously dragging right now. my stomach is growling but i don’t have the energy to get out of bed and get my LA.

TGIF. That’s all I can say!

Comments:

could you be dehydrated?

i dont think so. not now. i’ve been going to the bathroom, but not too much.
i’ve been drinking my 8 to 10 cups of LA per day, and additional water.

i suppose it’s always a possibility. i’ll pound some water today.

thanks…
i’m sure additional water will help, whatever my malady.

Yes, the SWF will make your bad symptoms pass more quickly. Have you done it at all? If you have, you know that it literally flushes you and takes everything in it’s way out with it. Honestly, I would be afraid to do the cleanse without the SWF. I relied on it heavily. When I did the SWF it eliminated my symptoms immediately. Good luck to you.

Thanks. I’ll try it tomorrow. I have tried it in past cleanses, and I became worried that it was flushing me out a little TOO well. I was loosing a lot of liquid and didn’t want to get dehydrated. But now that I’m over half way along, I’m sure there is a lot of stuff that needs to be moved along.

I hope that doing it for the first time during this cleanse, on day 6, doesn’t shake up my system too much. Should be fine though, right?

I suspect it would be more than fine. If you don’t eliminate the toxins right away they begin to re absorb. That’s what’s probably causing your yucky symptoms.

mid day?

do you think i should do it now, midday? or wait until first thing tomorrow?

i’ll have to brave the swf, i don’t know how you guys do it every day.

thanks

I took a nap and woke up feeling much better. I’m sure that my body is just going thru a hump in the cleansing process, as is to be expected. I’m quite certain that I am fully 100% MC compatible (as is mostly everyone) and am continuing to enjoy the process, even thru the less pleasant moments. It’s part of life. I sure don’t think that I’m incompatible with life when I’m having a hard day, so I’ll keep my chin up and get thru the hard times.
I’ll try a SWF tomorrow morning. I’m sure it will help.
