Eliminate verbal acne (read all 3 entries…)
Doesn't anybody want to help? 4 years ago

I can’t rid the world of this terrible plight on my own.
I guess I will fend them off until I am forced into some like um ummmm er uh, well, corner.

I'm on your side

Admittedly I do this myself….it’s become too easy to be lazy than proper. I would LOVE to get rid of all the verbal garbage though. Somehow I can’t help but think my grade school English teachers are rolling in their graves listening to the poor grammer skills we have. Although the cause seems hopeless as the schools in our state are now advocating to teach ebonics as a language all it’s own. sigh

ah yes

Nerves, you know. I am guilty of many of the things you listed and yet very aware of the need to get rid of them . . . I deplore sloppy speech in writing and usually manage to avoid it – but seaking is harder for me.

Ok are you being funny?

Don’t know if you did it on purpose or what but you said

“I deplore sloppy speech in writing and usually manage to avoid it – but seaking is harder for me.”

seaking? Did you mean typing? LOL

It’s just ironic even though I know you simply missed pressing the key. it appens to m all th ime. :)

Speaking is difficulf for me too I get toungue tied sooo easily to the point that it affects what I’m even thinking about. I have to learn to slow down and think of what it is that I need to say and then carefully proceed. Of course I don’t sound like a robot…....really!
