I think the first step should be to buy those archival plastic sheet negative holders. My old prints which aren’t in albums and old negatives going back 25 years or more, some of them are just thrown in a big old plastic shopping bag. I need to put them in proper, protective holders so I can get reprints and digitize them. Most of my old slides are already in holders, which are stored in binders. It should be a fun project and the reward (probably finishing after we move) should be that I have all my old pictures at my fingertips on a computer. I might even upload the best of them to Flickr!

Luna is taking a break from 43T. She will be back :)
Wow!!
I could’ve written almost all that post myself. Good luck!
thanks
I just found out that a few of my negatives and children’s old school photos somehow ended up in the basement and were water damaged. This includes negatives from our wedding album with some medium and large format negatives as well. I need to find a restoration and preservation specialist. It’s a big task but thanks to technology today I am hopeful that all is not lost. Do you have an account on Flickr?
