I just moved to Eugene, Oregon from Orlando Florida about 6 months ago. Although I have made a few friends here in Eugene, I miss the plethra (Spelling?) of awesome friends I had back in Orlando. I keep telling myself to remember that it took me 8 years to make all of the freinds and aquaintences I had in Orlando. And it took all that time hanging out with each person to really build a strong bond. It doesn’t happen overnight and although I know all of this, it is still sometimes depressing to see other people enjoying that connection with others (it can be inspiring sometimes, too) The sad part is, I will be moving again, to California (Hopefully to San Fransisco!!) next year, so I won’t even have time to form the kind of connection that I miss having around. :(
