It just occurred to me... 2 years ago

How difficult is it to throw a block party in Belltown I wonder? How much money does it take, how difficult is it to coordinate, who needs to be on your side, what needs to happen, etc? I think I’ll look into it as an exercise in what’s possible. Well, everything’s possible! And Seattle needs a block party that’s all about the love. That’s the answer to everything.

become a “block captain” and host a crime watch block meeting/PARTY. The police department will give you a crime watch sign to post on a telephone poll and a telephone phone tree can be created. I did it and it is great to love your neighbors
