I had a blast. I fell in love with my regulars. I 86ed a few drunks out of my bar. I was inspired by the drama.I got to know my personal social limitations. After the experience, I became proud of myself for not hitting the tap secretly.

Personal social limitations?

What exactly do you mean by your personal social limitations? Were you shy before, and bartending made you outgoing, or something else?

I’m thinking about going to bartending school at some point, and getting my TABC certificate. That’s the texas cert. I’ve heard that some bars don’t want you to go to bartending school, b/c they have to re-teach you how to make drinks their way.

Oh yeah, and the certificate is $20 whereas the school is…I don’t know, probably a few hundred bucks.
