I’ve dated three. Musicians are difficult people. I love them, and I can appreciate them because I’m a visual arts girl. But damn. They have so much emotion wrapped up in their art that they really suck with human interaction. Their songs are so insightful, but jesus their people skills suck.

If you can find one and tame them, good for you. I bet dating a musician capable of allowing himself to be human would be super-awesome. I just haven’t found one yet. I’m thinking about dating… an accountant. Haha. That would be extremely boring, but it might be better than another damn musician breaking my heart (and then singing about it later—don’t you hate that?!)
