Not exactly what I anticipated. In a very surprising turn of events, I accepted an offer to manage a busy flower market close to my previous home town. It is a great challenge and I was thrown in the deep end over this long weekend. Every other employee got the whole weekend off and I had to do my first wedding for the shop all on my own. Everything went extremely well, and even the venue was a pleasant surprise. Having had my own mental picture of the place, I didn’t even bother to take along my camera, and regret it now! The place is built in an open boma style with a small gazebo, all thatch and stone, right next to the Crocodile river and set under a forest of mature trees. A potentially magnificent setting for a party with fantastic atmosphere. Will post some photos someday soon.

I just saw
your pic in Vrindaa’s section. I am not up with stuff at 43T, life is crazy, in a good way. But, if you really are a grandmother, you are the prettiest one in the whole wide world. You are lovely.
:)
Congratulations on all the life changes and opportunities. It will all be good!

I keep missing your entries! It’s so good to see you back here and I must agree with ooty – you sure don’t look like a grandmother!
Great news about the flower shop job! My best friend has always wanted to open a flower shop! The site for that wedding does sound lovely! Enjoy your days!
