write ambidextrously
I think it massages your brain ... 2 years ago

to use its other, sadly neglected half, whichever that may be. When I’m writing with my left hand (mostly a righty) I have to focus on forming letters, connecting letters, keeping my hand off the page (it’s illegible if I don’t use my upper arm to actually do the writing!) ... and the longer you do it the longer it’s like meditating. You are focusing on different things than when you’re righting with your dominant hand. (<--see there, you can’t spell anymore, because the more symbollic side of your brain has fired up) It’s a good break from anything else you’re dealing with! If you can’t meditate, try writing with your other hand.

How cool

I’m going to try it too—what a great idea. I never thought of it that way…
