When I first typed the two words into the “What do you want to do with your life box”, I did it half-whimsically knowing that my identity wouldn’t come close to being revealed- it being my first and only goal.
Since then I’ve added goals to my list, but more importantly people have joined this goal as well. I was extremely encouraged to see it go from a few to seven to 20 to 30 and 40. Then, some time while I was away for a couple months, it crept past the one-hundred mark and has been growing steadily ever since.
It’s important to recognize that we are a small minority of people amongst a world that endeavours to be filled by things that will never satisfy; pornography is a billion dollar industry; lust and coveting is everywhere we look; desire and sex and perversion has infiltrated the minds and motives of our society.
I’m encouraged by all of you, and we’re encouraged by each other. God Bless you all in your stiving for purity, be confident that you will be guided into greater things when you turn to Him. Each temptation is an oppourtunity to become a little bit of a stronger, wiser, greater person- the only type that can leave a lasting effect on a lost world.
