Yes, I think that we all have our own special sets of gifts or talents and much of life is about taking those talents for something of a test drive to see which road they go best on. Thankfully, I also think that we have many ways that we can use those gifts and our dream can take us in many different directions. Great quote from Frederick Buechner: vocation is “the place where your deep gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” So, yeah, our gifts remain the same and they grow and become strong, the world is hungry in many directions many different times. Whatever brings passion to us makes it possible for us to apply those gifts to the world’s yearnings.
