I was on ortho tricyclin lo and was a lunatic (well, it also could have been the relationships i was in). i talked to my doc and she said orthotricyclin is very out dated and the newer pills are less wacky with the hormones. also it takes about a year to adjust from what i understand. anyway, i have been on loestrin for a year and i am not having the mood swings i had. don’t give up on birth control yet. ask your doc for something different.
