That’s great that you’re deciding to return to your religion. I find it interesting that so many people put off their return because they believe it is too important not to give their commitment 100%. Consequently, we have people in the religion who don’t take it seriously, and the people who do understand how important of a commitment it is, are just too scared to try. Sometimes it’s better to just go ahead and do what you know is right. The right attitude will come in time after doing the right thing for a while. I know, because I was faced with the same decision several years ago and I shared your same concerns. But if you sit and wait for your attitude to miraculously change it will never happen. The trick is to just take the leap and leave the rest up to God. It’s only then that you’ll truly be happy. God bless you!
