and FUN to learn is Swahili. It’s also widely spoken. I was able to speak Swahili in Kenya, Tanzania, Some parts of Rwanda, and the Sudan. Alot of that is because many people have lived in refugee camps in Kenya/etc. It was a very helpful African language to know. I also spoke some Dinka, but Dinka is very simple, so in theory it is easy to learn, but not widely used. I had started to learn Kissy, in Liberia but now I am at home ,using English and occasional Spanish.
