Meet me under the gate
Pretty cool… and actually, we almost did see christo in the park, being followed by a mob of media guys. Well worth it, and too bad I don’t live in NYC

My wife and I live in Philly and we went to NYC last Wednesday to see “Gates” and do some other things. Gates is a wonderful phenom—got more people walking & talking in Central Park on a gray weekday than usual, that’s for sure. It’s really a “forest and trees” thing: see the pattern of gates, not the individual gate. Like Christo, himself, said, “One gate—not art. Twenty-three gates—not are. Twenty-three miles of gates—ART!” Hope you can get to see it.
