Albeit it was because I was doing chemo, I had considered doing it before because I wanted to grow out my gray hair without getting roots. Once my hair started falling out I had my 9 year old daughter shave it. Trippy, huh? Can you imagine shaving your mom’s head!? Being bald was fun, I never wore a wig, and only wore a bandana every once in a while. I wore a skull cap when my head got cold. Bald was a good look for me.
