the colour of the homemade smock I was wearing for the first time the day James called at my house to see if I wanted to play jumping off garage roofs with him and I’m running my 10k after work and after collecting my baby and cooking dinners for today and tomorrow whilst something about the humidity and the overpowering smell of May flowers reminds me and yet that essential feeling of excitement that was there after James had gone and mum finally relented and let me out running to catch him up was missing…when suddenly The Katzenjammers play the feeling into my ear:)
