Day one of the 'not on a diet' diet... 2 years ago

vaguely following some tips from (no longer doctor) Gillian McKeith’ you are what you eat plan, I have decided to cut out all processed food – especially refined sugar, white bread and white pasta, and all junk food. I am trying to drink lots of water, eat fruit and veg and not combine protein with carbs in a meal.

I have a detox head today, day one, which I blame on the cutting out tea and coffee, but I am feeling fairly confident I could keep this up long term once my body stops punishing me for not feeding it sugar!

While I am a long way off my target weight, I am stepping in the right direction, which seems likes the most important thing!
