I live in Australia and Christmas is mostly hot.
I’ve always imagined what it would be like to have a “white christmas” to wake up on Christmas morning and see it snowing.
This is something I would truly love to experience just once in my life! :)
Living in Australia, I think I’ll have to have Christmas in another country to experience this…..most Christmas days for me are spent swatting the flies and wishing I was at the beach.
Just once in my life, I want to be able to wake up on Christmas morning, look outside and see a blanket of snow! :)
I grew up in North Dakota so every Christmas was WHITE! I’m having a hard time as an adult dealing with the 80 degree weather in December. I’m as giddy as a child when my plane arrives home for Christmas and I get my first view of snow!
and I think we sometimes take the snow for granted. It is a beautiful sight when it first falls and the kids have the best time playing outside in it. My brother, who lives in South Carolina, came up with his daughter last week and she saw snow for the first time. (she’s 5) It was so great watching her get excited about it and it was pretty funny watching her get dressed up in mittens, hat and snow pants for the first time ever :)
