I am a hugh movie buff. My favorite actor is Leonardo Dicaprio, I think he is the Brando of the 20th century. He seems to be a caring person in touch with the world. I think this is in my top 3 things I’d love to do~

YES...But

Yes Brando is the “Brando of the 20th Century” But….I think he as an actor is right up there with him.

Never liked him ....until

I never had a lot of time for Leo, always thought he was too “little boyish” and not a very good actor.

Honestly, I thought he looked like he should have been Kate Winslett’s son in Titanic. Far to young looking to play Howard Hughes as well.

Gangs of New York was OK I suppose but he totally ruined The Beach for me.

But then I saw The Departed. I don’t know what happened but all of a sudden he seemed to have grown up and was able to act.

I have a new respect for him now and hope he can keep it up.

I agree

The departed blew me away too…That is when I also really noticed him as a great actor.

You should see Blood Diamond if you have not, he was equally great in this movie.

I have not got around to seeing Blood Diamond yet but I hear Leo is quite good in it.

I have been impressed with Djimon Hounsou in just about everything he has done previously so I really should try to see it.
