Summit of Mt Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Great climb. Went through tanzania-adventures. 2 guides, 1 cook, 11 porters, 6 days and 4 of us. All of us made the summit. Piece of cake…except for the final ascent..which is the opposite of cake.

if you go, make sure you go on safari too. If you do both, do the climb first.

I liked your comment, the final ascent is the opposite of cake! Im hearing it’s easy, I’m hearing it’s hard…best description yet! Im thinking of going next July with my partner. I’m not particularly fit now but I have started some training so hopefully I’ll be ready next July.
