I keep my sewing kit under the sink in the kitchen with the bootshine kit. It has needles, threads of various colours, buttons, velcro, a seam ripper, some pins and a hald-held electric sewing machine for emergencies. It’s worth its weight in gold and beats hunting around for a needle and thread whenever you lose a button.
