I heard the word Iran and then suddenly it seemed like the guy with the thatch hair (is that PPDA?) asked about Africa.
I missed the first half so maybe they already did that, which is why it got curtailed. But I do think the President gets to decided exterior policy so I need to know what we’re really in for. Anyone?

Hmm, I just read some article that said there were lots of fireworks. It sounds really cool to me to have a female socialist debating some stodgy conservative guy; but maybe it’s not quite what I would picture. Because for one thing I’m guessing that the Socialist gal would probably not be wearing what she would be in my imagination.
half an hour we’re going to (sob) probably get Sarkozy, who is somewhat unfrenchily friendly to countries who are hell bent on spreading democracy to Iran, among other things.
I’m sitting here trying to imagine a Europe with Brown, Merkel and Sarkozy – (and Tony Blair as EU president if the renaming of the constitution works? I have yet to work this bit out).
