Do you need to have Canadian citizenship to live in Canada? How welcome are Americans (aside from being assholes)? Working visas or? What sort of set-up do I need to have to get my foot in the door? Thanks!
British commonwealth citizens under 35 (i think!!) can get a 1 year work permit for canada. If you want to stay longer and work you need to apply for permanent residency. Its not that hard but there’s a long waiting list. I think if youre from usa its much easier to work in canada.
I should get my visa this year and will prob live in Vancouver for a while. Check out britishexpats.com if you got questions.
Good luck
