buy a hybrid car (read all 2 entries…)
Waiting

I’m looking forward to the Hyundai Accent hybrid. I think it has the potential to be one of the most economical hybrids both in initial costs and in running costs since it’s such a small and light vehicle. I’d probably be willing to trade in my Elantra GT Hatchback for one.

I’d definitely go for a Hyundai hybrid because I’m so happy with my current Hyundai, and I know if they do a hybrid they’ll stand behind it and it’ll be a good product at a good price.

Collector of cats When in doubt, be truthful. It will impress some and astound the rest.

But do look at all hybrids (all makes and models) before you buy. There are lots of rebates and tax incentives in buying hybrids but some car companies are offering better deals than others. Another thing-If the majority of your driving is city driving, the hybrid is a good choice, otherwise, just look for a good economical regular car if you are after something for highway driving because it will be years before you see any savings from buying a hibrid.
