I’ve slipped a couple of times but not in a bad way. I still need to avert my gaze whenever I see a SALE sign. They’re everywhere all year round it seems.
I’ve had some largish purchases but these were needed.

You’re right. Theres always a sale on somewhere, and they prey on you, like the beasts of the Serengeti.
Having to decide what you really “need” is worse IMHO. If we were 100% sure about what we did and didnĀ“t need, this whole goal would be a lot easier :-)

The trick is to budget!!!
I love to save money, and feel like I got the best deal on things I’ve purchased. Stick to your lists, and keep track of how much you save by waiting to find the items you need on sale. I waited for two years for a flat panel monitor, and bought a GREAT name brand monitor for $133 with tax!!! Discount shopping is fun, but any addiction can be cumbersome and difficult to conquer. Keep a budget and celebrate how much you’ve been able to save!
