There’s this place in Golden, Colorado called Lookout Mountain.
I used to go there almost every week during the summers and just gaze at the small town that lay at the foot of the mountain and the beautiful lights of Denver that sparkled like stars on those late nights.
The drive itself is just calming, but to be in that certain spot and let everything out with a giant scream that leaves you lightheaded…I don’t think anything can compare.

Now my special spot is in ruins thanks to foolish kids, bottles, and vandalism. Now I have to venture to find a new one.
