I’m Wiccan, and since my coven moved away and I’ve been on my own I haven’t been observing the holidays. Also I live with some other people who aren’t necessarily of my faith, so it’s kind of difficult. Any advice for solitary practitioners?

Go to the forest to meditate
The forest, the mountains, the solitary places in nature will help you heal
whatever you need healing,
will give you strength,
will nourish ye,
will allow you to focus.
You can continue to learn
from the great Mother,
from the spirits of the wood,
the waters, the sky.
I don’t know how much I can or should
tell ye, but I too am a solitary one,
though I can’t say as I practice
the same as ye.
Some of us wait and prepare for the Second Coming.
Some of us seek.
Some of us look to the past. Some to the future. Some hope to be real in the present moment.
I hope to do a little of each, but be real now, staying alert and alive
listening for subtle cues for what to do.
What can you share with me that can help?
