Leigh Anne wants this (her 33rd) birthday to be the best ever, and isn’t looking for external forces to make it so. That’s the best approach to having an excellent birthday, taking control of it yourself. Here are my wishes for her for the coming year:

May she feel the urge to smoke less, and the motivation to use alternatives to nicotine such as spending time with her children either reading bedtime stories or creating wonderful memories (because I hope that she doesn’t smoke around her children). May she accept that she can be good to herself, while still giving of herself to others, though she should always come first. And may the people around her cause less negativity so that she yells less, is less critical and doesn’t need the sarcasm.
