study abroad, in England (read all 12 entries…)
Worth It! 2 years ago

I flew home yesterday, and it was hard to say goodbye. My last few days in England were rough, but I was touched by the kindness of my friends—people I’ve only known for a few months. They went out of their way to help me get off on time, and I realized just how lucky I am to have met such wonderful people.

I loved being there. I enjoyed my classes, living in England, the people I’ve met, everything. If you’re considering studying abroad in England—do it! It was one of the most wonderful expriences of my life. I’ll caryy these memories with me for a long time.

Kalibebti Happy New Year everyone ! : )

I spent three weeks

studying in Oxford, fitting in two Saturdays in London with a final week split between actually seeing Oxford plus two days in Edinburgh. It was all completely insane but gorgeous and good fun. I loved doing the summer courses in Oxford, but trying to take in everything & write essays at the same time and show up for 8am breakfast & 9am lecture was killer! I was 33 at the time, one of the oldest students of course & could see why…trying to keep up with the twentysomething barhoppers was probably a mistake… ;) Oxford is so beautiful.

I’d love to hear more about your London experience. I’ll look for your photos!
