i want one.
i’ve also found the course i want to do once i have this, at the “Cape Town School of Photography”.
Of course i cannot afford either the camera or the course, but i’ll find a way somehow.

If I could afford one I would send it to you, given that you make such good use of the Olympus you have. I am making do with my camera phone because of its convenience.
A digital SLR would however expose my lack of talent, where I think it would only move you onto a higher level.

someone suggested i make a book of my public toilet photos to raise money for the DSLR

only it would cost too much to make, and they’re possibly the worst of my photos.
no, this will take less wishing and more hard work and saving, but that’s a good thing.
