Dedicate more time to my practice of Buddhism
Practice is the only thing that matters 4 years ago

For most of us who are not full-time monks or nuns, practice is what we need more of. Practice helps us attain more. Reading and attending dharma talks are both good, of course, and very educational. But I do not want to be a “bookstore Buddhist.”

I want to make more time in my life for the practice of Buddhism.

My teacher would probably say “Just do it.”

It’s the hardest thing. It’s the easiest thing. Just sit on the cushion. Yes, it’s the easiest thing in the whole world. Only sit.

Zen Patriarch Seung Sahn said-

You make easy, you make hard.
When you don’t make easy or hard, that is Buddha’s “right effort”

my best wishes for you in your practise!
