If what you mean is that I won’t have as many unbelievable stories to share about my neighbors.
If you mean that I will have fewer sleepless nights worrying about what they are trying to pull over on me next.
If you meant that I will miss having the need to speak with my lawyer on occasion.
If you mean that I can go out in my yard again without having to constantly look over my shoulder.
If you mean that my children and their cat are once again safe to go outside.
If you mean that my blood pressure will drop a few notches.
Then, yes, I guess I will kind of miss them.

I’m liking you more every day ToddieM.
It’s so uncomfortable to live right next to hostile psychopaths, but there are so many afflicted with such neighbours. It’s only fair that we all take turns, and your shift is nearly over. Maybe the people who buy the house will give really great parties (and invite you to every one, of course).

I don’t think the next ones can help but be better than these people. They’d certainly have to try really hard (and be totally psychotic) to be any worse.

I’m in Utah. Might be a bit of a commute to So Cal.
Rumor has it that the house has been sold. I saw some people over there yesterday poking around. I think that they are the new owners.

Right you are SoCal. ToddieM is dead wrong on this one.
They leave on Saturday. Most of the neighbors are going over there to tell them what good neighbors they were and how much they’ll miss them. I’m just going to stay away to avoid saying something stupid.
I know that I should be more charitable, but the wounds are still fresh and I still feel the stings of the pain that they deliberately inflicted upon me. I’m sure that with time I’ll get over it, but in all honesty it probably won’t happen in the next three days.
