Affordable homes are tiny and crappy and usually badly built. Old places are cold and dark and expensive to heat. I want to build a big enough place to live comfortably with lots of light and lots of insulation. I have no idea how I will ever be able to afford this.

I will build an eco house with super insulation and passive solar heating. I’ll probably build from straw bales, but will use whatever sustainable materials are available where I build.

I will build it with my own hands, with a little help, I hope.
