CropTillDawn~ Fragile? Must be Italian!
I’m going to do three of them.
One will be in my cursive handwriting, that I was taught in the 3rd grade and I used until the 12th grade. It is very illegible and I NEVER use it. All through school the teachers would see “me” (cute, petite, friendly, girl) and assume I was just rushing through and write “sloppy” and “sp.” in red ink all over my papers. I “HATED” it! My Dad, Uncle, Aunt and Son have the same penmanship.
The next will be printed, when I started working in the dental office,at the age of 19, the front office girls needed to be able to read my writing, and we wrote up the charts, not the Dr.s, so I started using simple, all capitols, block printing.
Even then a patient would see my writing and say,”Wow, your writing is as bad as the Dr.’s” We did use a lot of long medical terms, so I loved using the abbreviations. pt flg rc crn epi ext
after a while I started making up my own, the front office girls don’t like it when you do that, but then again, they don’t a whole lot of things ;)
Lastly, I will write using my felt tip calligraphy pen. I had always wanted to learn calligraphy, but I knew that with the ink , cartridges, and nibs I would just make a big ‘ol mess. Now I could just pick it up and go. I got some books from the library,
Kathy and McPunk got me in trouble one time, they were pushing all of the books back so they were not neat and lined up to the front of the shelf( I never brought either one of them again,Berta either lol)anyway, I found that if I wrote with the pen using my regular cursive, it actually look like a girl wrote it :) I used it to write out Christmas cards and I even addressed all of our wedding invitations :D I was very excited when they started making them in different colors for us scrapbookers, oh pretty :D
