I love the story, but one thing I seem to get stuck on are those histories… of waterloo, of france, etc.. On the 800th page and once again “history of…” Because seriously there are parts in the book when they talk about Marius when I’m just totally immersed into the book, but the histories just stump me. Anyone else agree? I’m going to try to finish it, though.

The same thing happened to me. I got so into the story and then when the war stories and history stuff came I would fall asleep after like two pages, lol. This happened for like two weeks and I finally had to put the book down >.<
