Silly but true. I recently realized that the origins of this particular fantasy lie in Disney’s Little Mermaid movie. When Ariel and Eric are taking the boat ride and they go beneath the low-bending tree branches, it is so romantic, so secluded, so perfect. My husband and I have been searching for the perfect weeping willow tree for our own romantic hideaway but haven’t found one yet.
