A rather nice, all-gals (woo hoo!) affair @the Esplanade, entitled ‘Behind Wooden Bars,’ last evening. Mostly enjoyed Assoc. Prof. Kevin Bobo’s (impromptu, methinks) marimba composition of the night. :)

Guess am more of a ‘string instrument person’ (sarangi, violin, sitar..) than a ‘wind instrument person’ (except of course, the indian – or chinese – flute).

Think i enjoyed it largely bec. i got to ‘disturb’ dear Sowmya (aka Guru) with my musings during every possible intermission/break.. ~ And, of course, getting to spend a lovely evening with a dear friend, after so long. ;)
