Beautiful – vast – huge – space – Queensland is fantastic. The beaches are superb. The smell of the gum trees, shrieking cockatoos – seeing kangaroos at dusk in the fields. The Glasshouse Mountains and Noosa head – Mooloolaba where my kids did a shark dive. Hervey Bay and whalewatching – saw humpbacks and dolphins. Fraser Island (rained that day). Pelicans bobbing around in the sea. Australia Zoo (poor Steve). Sydney was so cool – the boat ride round the harbour and the Opera House. We didn’t have enough time – only 3 weeks – but I’m going back to stay with my sister.
