Try to get some form of excercise every day.

A lot of people have this certain idea of what excercise is, and most times it involves crunches or lunges. Not the case.

Every night, myself and six of my friends go longboarding all around downtown when there’s no cars around. We go to the top of parking garages and ride all the way down (getting up to 20 mph sometimes). We board through the streets…anywhere there’s a smooth enough surface. I’ve been doing this every day for two weeks and I’ve lost fifteen pounds.

Unless you just happen to love doing awful crunches or lunges, then I suggest you find a really fun way to lose weight…it will be much easier and you’ll have more fun!

The picture I’ve included is of my friend Delaney and I bench pressing our longboards…which actually does nothing.

Awesome idea!

I used to do skateboard when I was younger. I noticed a lot of these people doing that longboard recently, I felt compelled to get back to it. And I dunno I just feel like I need to get back at some sport where I can actually hurt myself lol.

I also used to do lotsa rollerblade but eventually got tired because the asphalt sucks up here.

I agree with you that people often think of exercice as some kind of torture you have to impose yourself instead of trying to find some activity you actually like. I quit on going to the gym just because I realized one day hey I don’t care about looking cut or fit. I just want to feel good that’s it.

Now I started running with a friend. Not bad but not quite what I’m looking for. Still too much of a torture.

I used to dance, that’s a great activity. You can easily dance for 2-3 hours without getting tired and will lose much more weight than many sports.

In the winter (I’m in canada) I’m thinking about buying snowshows and going to walk in the forest. I used to ski when I was younger and would like to start snowboard, but it’s quite expensive nowadays.
