I have always had a passion for writing. I have always knew I’d end up being a writer. That is until High School English Composition class. After that class I realized that according to a professional I sucked at writing. Didn’t squash my passion though but it did prevent me from making my college major focused on English or Writing. I am now 37 years old and in a completely unrelated field of work but I still want to write a book. I have been writing the same book for at least five years now. I need more time to devote to it but I am still confident this could happen for me one day. I will just keep typing away and editing and re-editing until then.

Good luck love.
Some of the most eloquent people I know have been terrible at English Studies in school.
Please don’t be disheartened by grades from years ago. There’s nothing special about a person who writes with perfect text-book composition.
Be proud that you have your own unique flair for story telling. ;-)
