I did a short course in school a long time ago. Afterwards I just kept on trying… I guess to chat all the time helps ;)
Practice whenever possible, and forget the numbers for a while, it is not possible to learn all the keys at once.
Anyways, now I am at approximately 360cpm or 80wpm; but I have to say, I couldn’t type at that speed all day without my fingers getting all swollen and the skin peeling off the fingertips…
The worlds record is at 212wpm, beat that! :D
A nice speed test can be found at typingtest(dot)com, test your skills once in a while, you’ll certainly see improvement.
