So if their intention was to hurt you, what made them angry?
Is it possible to forgive them, while still letting them know that behaviour is not acceptable?
I would love to share with them “a piece of my mind.” Where are they? I’ll write to them and chide them for being mean!
You are cool in my book. How’s this for an idea? Look:
“I hereby affirm that I will do my best to never abuse you, nor disrespect you, even when I am angry. If I am angry, I will try to let you know in acceptable ways.”
Maybe you can get them to sign that statement above, once they apologize. And apologize they should.
I am willing to be a long distance Friend, as a fellow Friend if you’ll have me. Meanwhile, I hold thee in the Light. (Meaning I will affirm you in an empathetic way, rather than just “pray for you” as if I would be condescending or patronizing. So I hold us all in the Light, as I care for myself with dignity, hope, faith, and charity).
